2011 Calendar

A bit of a change for 2011.  Instead of the 12 page calendar with the full colour cover which has been used since the calendar's introduction in 2003, the calendar for 2011 boasts 14 pages - December 2010 to January 2011 inclusive - and still with a full colour cover.  The size remains the same at A4 while the photographs on each page remain the same size and the date lay-out is very similar to that used in the past.

.....just one of many pursuits to follow on this beautiful island.  If that's not for you then why not try windsurfing, walking, yachting, pony trekking, sand yachting, kite surfing, golf.  If something more leisurely is your thing then visit Tiree's museum, An Iodhlann, at Scarinish or go to Hynish to learn the fascinating story about the  building of Skerryvore lighthouse.  Take a sea tour or explore the island's tourist trails.  Visit the craft shops and artists' studios.  Enjoy a cuppa at one of several excellent cafes or have a meal at one of the friendly restaurants or hotels.  Go shopping and enjoy meeting and chatting with islanders and other holidaymakers - you're on holiday so slow down make the most of the much gentler pace of life!
